maintained and updated from the year 2005 onwards. A comprehensive database
containing the record of publications of CECRI since its inception to 2005
has been envisaged. Efforts are on to compile/digitize the full text of the

The Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), founded in 1948, has its roots in the patriotic fervor of Dr. R. M. Alagappa Chettiar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Shanthi Swarup Bhatnagar. On January 14, 1953 CECRI became a physical reality when Dr. S.
